MacroFactor is a strong food logger. If you also want a workout log, the company still sells that as a second app. BusyBody is the iPhone option for people who want both jobs on one subscription, with a clear list of what it does not replace.
What MacroFactor still splits in two
MacroFactor's own help center says MacroFactor Workouts and MacroFactor Nutrition operate as separate apps. They do not automatically adjust training based on nutrition data, or nutrition targets based on training data. They share body weight, measurements, and period data. That is the integration. It is not one diary.
Pricing is published on the same help center, in US dollars, and can vary by tax and exchange rate. One app, either Nutrition or Workouts, is $11.99 a month, $47.99 for half a year, or $71.99 a year. If you started using MacroFactor on or after 1 January 2026, the bundle that includes both apps is $89.99 a year. People who already had an active Nutrition subscription before that date, and who keep it, get Workouts free through 12 January 2027. After that promo, the help page says the bundle is still $89.99 a year.

People are still asking for one app. On 31 August 2026, a beginner-fitness thread asked for an app that tracks macros and workouts together. One reply still uses both MacroFactor apps. Another says the perfect all-in-one does not exist. A third keeps Hevy and MacroFactor and lets Apple Health connect them, because every all-in-one they tried did one side badly. An April 2026 workout thread asked for the same single app and said the usual answer was to use two. Those threads: macros and workouts (https://www.reddit.com/r/beginnerfitness/comments/1w3e3kz/bestappfortrackingmacrosandworkoutstogether/) and calorie tracking and workout tracking (https://www.reddit.com/r/workout/comments/1smfcwc/appforbothcalorietrackingandworkouttracking/).
What one iPhone plan includes
BusyBody is iOS only. There is one plan. Nothing on that plan is held back for a higher tier. After a 3-day trial, the public price is $65.99 a year or $13.99 a month. Cancel before the trial ends and you are not charged. Plan details are on BusyBody pricing (https://busybody.io/pricing).
On that plan you can log a meal from a photo, scan a menu, scan the fridge, scan a barcode, or speak the meal. The log tracks calories, protein, carbs, fat, and fibre, plus water. Steps sync with Apple Health. Workouts are in the same app, and they progress over time. Targets are set from onboarding. The coach, Bodi, answers from your own logs and targets. It can suggest meals you can log. It is not a second subscription.
If you want the category version of this question, without the MacroFactor name, these two posts already cover it: a calorie tracker with a workout log (https://busybody.io/blogs/calorie-tracking-app-with-workout-tracker) and workout trackers that include nutrition (https://busybody.io/blogs/best-workout-tracker-with-nutrition).
What this alternative does not replace
Do not switch if you want MacroFactor's expenditure model. BusyBody does not claim to copy the weekly algorithm that adjusts intake from your weight trend. It also does not claim that a hard workout rewrites tomorrow's calories, or that a big dinner rewrites tomorrow's session. MacroFactor's help page says its two apps do not do that either. The difference is that you are not paying for two apps to find out.
BusyBody is not on Android. The "free MacroFactor alternative" search is a different product: this plan is a 3-day trial, then a subscription. There is no permanent free barcode tier.
Who should stay on MacroFactor
Stay if you already like the expenditure model and you are fine with two apps, or if you are inside the promo that includes Workouts until 12 January 2027. Stay if you need Android. Stay if your training log lives in another app you will not leave, and Apple Health is enough of a bridge.
Switch if the thing you are tired of is the second subscription, and you want photo, barcode, voice, and workouts in one iPhone app. Set the calorie target with the TDEE calculator (https://busybody.io/tdee-calculator) first, then log against it.
FAQ
Is BusyBody a free MacroFactor alternative?
No. New users get a 3-day trial, then $13.99 a month or $65.99 a year. The free search is a different product.
Does BusyBody adjust workouts from what you ate?
No. Targets come from onboarding, and workouts progress over time. Bodi answers from your logs. That is not MacroFactor's expenditure model, and it is not an automatic rewrite of tomorrow's session.
Can I use it on Android?
No. BusyBody is an iPhone app.
